Tracey joined Conference Direct in 2010 with a diverse Lodging / Sales/ Culinary background dating back to 1990. From Front Office to Catering to Culinary/Convention Operations and Group Sales, she brings a wealth of firsthand knowledge of how lodging venues and their various departments function, plan and integrate to deliver successful events. Prior to coming aboard, she held the position of Senior Account Executive with Marriott Hotels for 4 years. She has worked and lived in Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, San Diego, Maui, Aruba, Kansas City, New Orleans and San Francisco and this has given her the unique ability to make herself at home and find the best qualities and offerings in any city.

Tracey has a passion for all things culinary and invested the time to earn her degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute Lenotre in Houston in 2005 . She is a committed team member as is demonstrated by her involvement with two different chapters of MPI since 2006. Serving both chapters on both golf and gala committees , serving as Committee Chair for table host and concierge have led to her being recognized as MPIRMC Leader of the Month for February 2011, and Meeting Planner of the Year in 2011-2012. She was also nominated to serve on the board of MPIRMC of the 2012 to fill the position of Vice President of Membership and is currently serving as Vice President of Education for the 2014-2016 calendar years. With her personal experience, knowledge, drive and attention to detail, she is a tremendous asset to any customer desiring to find the perfect venue for the flawless event. She has created some “one of a kind” reporting tools and services to assist clients with informed decisions and is highly skilled at sourcing, site selections, negotiations, contracting , on site management and bill review. Her final Marriott boss said, “She develops long term relationships. She is not seeking the transaction; she looks for long term business partners.
